West Australian maritime technology company successfully installs and commissions autonomous maritime intelligent buoy system for Singapore operations.

Ausco was proud to exhibit at the Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference and Exhibition 2026 in Perth, showcasing sovereign Australian innovation across maritime autonomy, intelligent ocean infrastructure and deployable subsea systems.

As a third-generation Western Australian engineering and manufacturing business approaching 80 years of operation, IODS provided an important opportunity to showcase Ausco’s growing portfolio of Australian-designed technologies, including the AMAS Intelligent Ocean Buoy and GannetDive LRX Launch & Recovery System.

Throughout the event, our team engaged with Defence, government and industry stakeholders on emerging requirements across autonomous maritime and subsea operations, persistent ISR, distributed sensing, intelligent ocean infrastructure and AUV/ROV launch and recovery.
